Terms of service
These terms cover your use of the Flip to Win app and this website. Installing the app means you accept them. They sit alongside Shopify's own terms, which also apply.
What the app does
Flip to Win adds a gift-reveal game page to your store and grants the gifts a shopper collects as real discounts in their cart. You choose the prize set, the destination page and the styling. The prize set is identical for every shopper by design, so there is no draw and no element of chance.
Plans and billing
The free plan includes 300 human-qualified game-board views per calendar month. Paid plans have unlimited views and differ by features; current prices are on the pricing page. All billing runs through Shopify and appears on your Shopify invoice. Charges are not refundable except where required by law or by Shopify's policies.
You may change or cancel your plan at any time from Shopify's billing page. Downgrading to the free plan takes effect at the end of the cycle already paid for. Uninstalling the app cancels the subscription.
When a free-plan store passes 300 views in a month, the game page stops rendering and sends shoppers directly to the destination product page instead. Ads continue to work; only the game pauses.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the gifts you offer, their availability, and honouring them. The app grants discounts; it does not hold stock.
- You are responsible for your own advertising: creatives, targeting, claims, and compliance with each ad platform's policies and with the consumer and promotions law that applies to you.
- You must not use the app to run a lottery, sweepstakes, prize draw, or anything presented as involving chance or odds.
- You must not attempt to interfere with the app's discount logic or another store's data.
Our responsibilities
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and to fix defects promptly. The game page is served from our infrastructure, so an outage there means the game does not render; where possible the page fails by redirecting shoppers to your destination page rather than showing an error.
Availability and support
The service is provided without an uptime guarantee. Support is provided at the level included with your plan, via support@fliptowin.app.
Data
How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy. For shopper data, you are the controller and we act as your processor.
Intellectual property
We keep ownership of the app, this website and the Flip to Win name and marks. You keep ownership of everything you upload, including your artwork, fonts, copy and product data, and grant us only the permission needed to display it in your own campaigns.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost sales or lost ad spend. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the app during that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if the app is used in a way that breaks these terms, harms shoppers, or puts our Shopify Partner status at risk, with notice wherever it is practical to give it.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will always tell you which version you are reading.
